The monthly caravan protests against the US blockade of Cuba continued this month, showing the world's opposition to the genocidal US blockade. This month, activists from Rock Around the Blockade and the Revolutionary Communist Group reflected on the last year, under Joe Biden the US blockade has only tightened. This is a naked attempt to strangle Cuba's shining socialist example. Get in touch if you'd like to participate in the activities next month! Here are some photos and videos from around the country:
London
Focus E15 housing campaign in Newham, east London, sends solidarity to revolutionary Cuba. Over 40,000 families with children live in temporary accommodation in Britain and 70% of these families are in London. Conditions are overcrowded, damp, insecure and uninhabitable, and are blighting the lives of children who have no space to play, to learn, to develop. While council homes are being demolished. In Cuba the 1960 Urban Reform Law states that no more then 10% of a family’s income is paid to the government in rent, and Article 9 of the Cuban Constitution writes that the State works to achieve that no family be left without a comfortable place to live.
